I am both humbled and honoured to have had my flash fiction story, “Little Vova” — which was awarded Streetlight Magazine‘s Flash Fiction Prize for 2023 — also nominated by Streetlight for a Pushcart Prize. My thanks go out to Erika Raskin and the rest of the editorial team at Streetlight Magazine for their generous vote of confidence in my writing.

This is my second Pushcart Prize nomination. The first one came to nought (though the honour of being nominated was sufficient recognition in itself). Whatever becomes of this one, nothing can take away the thrill of having “Little Vova” recommended for inclusion in the Pushcart Prize Best of the Small Presses anthology.
